But for Grace

I ache for those who have felt no pain, and grieve for those who’ve yet to experience shame.

These lessons learned through living life are more than some may yet attain;
Even though, it is in living through the pain and shame that we the most may gain.

Ne’re let some lesser man tell you of their tales of woe; until they have been where you will go.
Ahhhh to grow in grace is no shame; and without pain, where could the grace be gathered from.

I look around at prideful man and remember. . .  ‘but for the Grace of Almighty God’. . .  there I am.
